Remote computer
support
If your problem isn’t internet related, you have the option for me to to create a secure, remote connection to your computer using an excellent industry standard software, called Splashtop.
I can speak to you on the phone and you can watch me work on your PC, all in real time.
If you are not happy with what I am doing at any time, you can close the remote session window and disconnect. I cannot regain access to your computer as the software generates a new code each time it’s used, for your peace of mind.

Onsite Diagnosis
Sometimes, I need to be right there in front of the PC to fully diagnose the issue, so I can perform a thorough examination of the issue and work out what is needed to repair it. It may need parts, software, updates or a combination of any of these things.
I have an array of physical tools and diagnostic software tools to identify the cause or causes of the problem so that we can then move onto the repair, or advise on the next steps – such as quoting for parts that may need to be ordered for a return visit. Sometimes I have replacement parts with me, so you can get a repair in one visit.
Onsite Break-fix Services
I will come out to you with the required replacement part, for example, if you have a cracked laptop screen. I will carefully disassemble the laptop to remove the broken screen, remove it carefully and then replace it with a good replacement working one, followed by a careful reassembly, taking good care not to do any damage to the machine, and leaving like it hadn’t been touched and like new again.

My data recovery service uses the best data recovery software on the market.
If I cannot recover your data, I will not charge a fee. However, if I can recover some or all of your data, there is a charge depending on how much of it we recover.
If I cannot recover it via software, I can refer you to an excellent specialised data recovery company who I work with who can try to recover the data at the hardware and forensic level.

Wi-Fi issues are common. Whether it is setting up a new wireless printer or other wireless device, you can waste a lot of time trying to work out why a device isn’t connecting or connecting anymore.
I can run diagnostic tests and troubleshoot in your home or business to determine the cause, make recommendations or fix the issue by changing configuration settings or by replacing hardware.

Mark's Micros was started after Mark became a Dell Certified Systems Expert (DCSE) I gained many years’ experience in Dell warranty repairs out in the field of break-fix work for all kinds of clients in many business and public sectors. I then moved on to contracting for large companies undertaking various rollout projects, such as updating software and operating systems (Experian), providing BAU support, upgrading Wi-Fi networks for Mitchells and Butlers, or IT Helpdesk support for JCB, based in their HQ in Rocester.
